New team means end-to-end construction and maintenance services

Marsupial Landscape Management is delighted to announce a new ‘Projects Team’.  The new division has been established to build a multi-functional landscape construction team that will provide bridging services between large scale construction projects and long-term contractual maintenance.

Operating in NSW, the Projects Team has two primary roles:

  • Deliver small landscape construction projects for Marsupial clients.
  • Maintain projects post construction for sister business Glascott Landscape & Civil; as well as carrying out maintenance works upon request during construction.

The 15-member team is made up of existing Marsupial staff with landscape maintenance skills and new employees with a mix of both maintenance and construction skills.

Martyn Rathbone has been appointed manager of the Projects Team. Martyn has 38 years of landscape construction experience including 12 years at Sydney Water carrying out major civil and post-tensioning works on Sydney’s water storage dams. He also spent 4 years with Glascott as ACT Manager. Martyn has been responsible for the delivery of a wide range of construction projects, across public infrastructure, residential development projects, multi housing and high-rise projects, and public parks and open space projects.

Marsupial’s General Manager, Cameron Tracey, said Martyn’s credentials will enable them to deliver high quality works while growing the division. “We’re excited to have Martyn on board. He’s a very experienced manager who knows how to build teams and is highly regarded in landscape construction. Between Glascott and Marsupial, we are pleased to now offer clients a complete end-to-end landscaping service.”
