New CEO for Marsupial and Glascott

One of Australia’s leading commercial landscaping groups, comprising Glascott Landscape and Civil and Marsupial Landscape Management, has appointed Craig Sutherland as new CEO.

In a move to consolidate the businesses, Managing Director Matthew Glascott has moved into an Executive Chairman role and will continue to provide strategic direction and support to the management team.

I’m delighted to welcome Craig Sutherland to our Group”, said Mr Glascott. “Craig brings substantial experience in managing complex operations and large teams and I look forward to working with him as we move towards our goals.”

Mr Sutherland joins the Group from Spotless where he was Group General Manager of Australia and NZ responsible for developing the Spotless footprint across Government, Critical Infrastructure and Tertiary Education, managing a portfolio value of over $650 million and leading more than 4,500 staff and subcontractor partners.

The new structure enables the Group to better leverage resources, capabilities and expertise to be better positioned for changes taking place in the market.

I’m excited by the opportunity to take the Group to the next level,” said Mr Sutherland. “I look forward to working with the Board and our teams to continually and proactively demonstrate value to our clients while providing opportunities for the ongoing development of our staff.”
