Providing landscaping at Taren Point Road sound wall

Taren Point Road is a major arterial road connecting Caringbah to San Souci in Sydney’s south. A new sound wall was created to reduce noise affecting the local Taren Point Public school and nearby residents.

Working for Ventia Boral Amey, Marsupial’s Projects Team delivered landscaping to both sides of the sound wall. On the road side, turf, trees, and shrubs were installed with timber edging. Behind the wall, the team reinstated 1,800m2 of turf on the school grounds.

As the landscapes establish over time, they will enhance aesthetics and assist in noise absorption; providing further benefits for the local community and road users.
