This Goods Line is a significant public space in the Sydney CBD. The project transformed a disused rail line into a vibrant pedestrian and cycle corridor. Glascott delivered the soft landscaping along the new linear park, which features a series of elevated spaces and platforms for entertainment, recreation, study activities.
In the early 1920s, bushland on Sydney Harbour was converted into a coal loading facility. Fast forward to the early 1990s, the site was decommissioned and in 2003 North Sydney Council started working towards transforming the disused industrial site into a sustainability centre and public open space.
Western Sydney Airport International Experience Centre was designed to host project milestones, media briefings & ministerial events, and provide viewing area for visitors to watch the new airport come to life. As the first project at site, the focus was on delivering the quality expected of a world-class international airport.
