Googong

Glascott have worked at the Googong township for over 12 years delivering quality open space assets such as, sports facilities, streetscapes, parks & playgrounds, and environmental assets.

Glascott Landscape & Civil have delivered various community assets at Ginninderry, creating quality open spaces for residents and visitors. Through Glascott Landscape Management, the sites maintained through the establishment period sustainable long term health.

Meadowbank Park Playground

Meadowbank Park Regional Playground and amenities building forms part of the Meadowbank Park Masterplan. The new playground and amenities are accessible and inclusive to all people and supports the growing Meadowbank community.

Seaford Primary School

Seaford Primary School upgrade aimed to meet the growing needs of the community through a new multi-purpose sports & art facility and refurbishing and extending the existing historic administration building.

Honeysuckle Park, Newcastle

“Newcastle – your city is now home to one of the best waterfront parks in NSW.” – Rob Stokes, Minister for Planning, Public Spaces, Transport and Roads at NSW Government. Honeysuckle Park is part of Honeysuckle Urban Renewal, transforming and revitalising the Newcastle Harbour foreshore.

Thomas St Playground

Glascott Landscape & Civil worked closely with Bayside City Council to upgrade the 1980’s much-loved community space in Hampton Victoria, to align with current and modern amenity.

Village Park Atherstone

Glascott have delivered a number of community open space assets at Atherstone. Village Park is situated in the heart of the estate and features a playground with ultra modern shelter, a half court basketball, drinking fountain, concrete seating walls and large open space turf areas.

The National Boer War Memorial

Glascott completed the National Boer War Memorial in Canberra ready for the official opening, in May 2017. The projects centers around four large large bronze light horseman statues created by renowned sculptor Louis Laumen.

Riverside Centre upgrade

Landscaping works included integrated planting with large Pandanus, Waterhousia and Livistonia palms, a new irrigation system, timber seating, stairs and handrails, and ambiance contemporary lighting installation.

Southport Broadwater Parklands Stage 3 – Mangrove Deck

The upgrade was part of the parklands extension in preparation for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Glascott undertook construction of a new timber viewing deck and soft landscape to the surrounds.

Clayton Road Linear Park, Level Crossing Removal Project

The Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal was major State Government infrastructure project aimed at reducing congestion and creating open space.

Rosebud Foreshore Playspace

The Rosebud Foreshore Playspace project was part of ‘Destination Rosebud’ – a master plan development aimed at reinvigorating the township and foster stronger relationships between business, community and visitors, its history and coastal environment.

George Pentland Botanic Gardens Playground

The playground is situated inside the George Pentland Botanic Gardens. We worked closely with Frankston Council to construct the natural play space, installing new play equipment and bespoke features such as the dream time

Fordham Gardens Ponds

The redevelopment of Fordham Garden Ponds was the result of extensive community consultation. Glascott’s undertook construction of the upgrade installing aquatic plants, enhanced landscaping and garden beds,

Haberfield Gardens

Haberfield Gardens was Glascott’s 5th delivery along the WestConnex corridor since 2017. The project is part of the M4 East – Legacy Works, which aims to increase open and public space along the WestConnex corridor and enhance accessibility for local communities and wider Sydney.

Spear Lily Park

Spear Lily Park is situated in Ecco Ripley – a Five Star Green-Star rated Sekisui House development in Ipswich. The new park was named after a native plant and food source for Indigenous Australians found throughout the area.

Kangaroo Point, Main Street Boulevard

Landscape works for Brisbane City Council at Main Street Boulevard, between Main Street and Shafston Avenue, Kangaroo Point.

Gumnut Playground & Yerradhang Nguru Park, Googong

Glascott has worked at Googong since 2011 delivering a wide range of community assets. At the heart of the township is Gumnut Playground and Yerradhang Nguru Park.

The Beijing Garden

The Beijing Garden is Located on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. The garden was a centennial gift from the Beijing Municipal Government to the people of Canberra to celebrate the significance of its sister city relationship.

Lovegrove Playground

Glascott have worked at Googong since 2011 delivering a wide range of community assets. Lovegrove Playground is an all abilities play space catering to children of all abilities. Glascott constructed the park undertaking site regrade, drainage and service connections.

Rockley Oval, Googong

Googong is a large masterplan community comprising five connected neighborhoods that will eventually house around 18,000 people. Glascott has worked at Googong since 2011 delivering a wide range of community assets including

The Goods Line

This Goods Line is a significant public space in the Sydney CBD. The project transformed a disused rail line into a vibrant pedestrian and cycle corridor. Glascott delivered the soft landscaping along the new linear park, which features a series of elevated spaces and platforms for entertainment, recreation, study activities.

The Coal Loader

In the early 1920s, bushland on Sydney Harbour was converted into a coal loading facility. Fast forward to the early 1990s, the site was decommissioned and in 2003 North Sydney Council started working towards transforming the disused industrial site into a sustainability centre and public open space.

Cockatoo Island Redevelopment

Steeped in history, Cockatoo Island is an iconic world heritage site on Sydney Harbour. In 2003 works commenced transforming the former shipping yard, jail and defense site into a multi-purpose public space.

Gore Hill Park Redevelopment

Funded by the Federal Government and local council, this project sought to improve community sports facilities and open space in the City of Willoughby LGA.

Wangal Park

Wangle Park is the largest park in Sydney’s inner west. The former brick pit has become a community open spaces with bike paths and wetlands. Glascott’s delivered the wetlands including all the hard and soft landscaping.

Melaleuca Lake & Playground, Jordan Springs

Melaleuca Lake and playground forms part of 17 ha of parks and open space at Jordan Springs. The 6.5-hectare parkland features a 2.8-hectare lake, walking and cycling trail, shaded ‘nature-based’ playspace, picnic facilities

Queensland University of Technology Education Precinct

The new Education Precinct at QUT was built to provide a range of contemporary learning and teaching spaces. Glascott Landscape & Civil delivered the landscaping packaging including construction work outside and inside the building.

WestConnex Legacy: Powell’s Creek & Green Links

WestConnex is Sydney’s largest infrastructure project. Glascott has worked on the motorway corridor for over three years delivering landscape and open space projects. Legacy is a key community and green infrastructure project.

Sydney Metro Northwest

In early in 2019, Glascott completed the entire soft landscaping package on Sydney’s largest public infrastructure project – Sydney Metro Northwest.

Coulter Street Upgrade and Public Art Project

The Coulter Street upgrade activated a service-driven laneway into a viable and modern pedestrian link. The project comprised of new paved path and roadways, stormwater and electrical services upgrade, installing CCTV cameras

Western Sydney Airport Visitors Centre

Western Sydney Airport International Experience Centre was designed to host project milestones, media briefings & ministerial events, and provide viewing area for visitors to watch the new airport come to life. As the first project at site, the focus was on delivering the quality expected of a world-class international airport.

Victory Square Dog Park & Playground

Glascott Landscape and Civil delivered the improvement upgrade to the existing dog park and playground at Victoria Square as part of the Toorak Park & Victory Square Masterplan.

The Australian National University SA6 Student Accommodation

Delivering on the Australian National University’s mission, to create the finest on-campus student communities in Australia, new student accommodation was built at their Acton Campus. The building replaced Bruce

The National Police Memorial Redevelopment

The National Police Memorial pays tribute to Australian Police Officers who have been killed on duty or have died as a result of their duties. Glascott undertook restoration to the structure while protecting original elements; such as the touchstones.

Ron’s Creek Stage 1 Open Space & Splash Park

Ron’s Creek Stage 1 Open Space & Splash Park evolved during the design of the Town Park and Masterplanning of the northern sections of Oran Park.

Royal Australian Mint Maintenance Contract

Glascott Landscape Management maintained the ground at the Royal Australian Mint for over 3 years. The work entailed maintenance of gardens, lawn areas, tree health, irrigation, litter removal and collection, mulch…

The Canopy

Glascott Landscape & Civil worked closely with ADCO Constructions to transform the existing Rosenthal Car Park, located in the centre of the Lane Cove shopping precinct, into a new 4-level car park with underground parking and rooftop retail precinct and public open space.

Ginninderry Estate Stage 1

Delivered by Glascott Landscape & Civil and Glascott Landscape Management: our teams worked closely with HUON Contractors to bring Ginninderry Stage 1 to life, providing construction and warranty maintenance on various assets.

Tormore Reserve Stage 2 Playground

The upgrade to Tormore Reserve has provided improvements to the overall amenity of the park surrounding the oval through the introduction of a new play space and picnic areas adjacent to Boronia Football and Cricket Club.
